Payoneer bank feed for Xero: the balances and history the sync misses

Payoneer syncs each currency balance to a matching Xero bank account once a day, from the start date you pick at connection. A second currency needs a multi-currency Xero plan, and delayed syncs are a recurring complaint. StatementClear posts the Payoneer statements into Xero as live feed lines.

Payoneer's own Xero sync exists, and if it covers all your balances, use it. Most people searching this have hit one of its edges: a second currency balance that will not sync without a plan upgrade, months of history from before the connection date, or a daily sync that quietly fell behind. StatementClear turns the statements you already download into a live bank feed in Xero - deduped, checked and ready to reconcile.

Where the native Payoneer feed falls short

Payoneer has a native Xero feed, set up from the Payoneer side, which syncs each currency balance to a matching Xero bank account once a day. The limits are the real pain: syncing more than one currency balance needs a Xero plan with multi-currency, history only runs from the start date you pick at connection, and delayed daily syncs are a recurring complaint on Xero's own forums.

Payoneer holds a separate balance per currency, and its exports follow suit: monthly statements are generated one currency balance at a time, so a seller receiving USD, EUR and GBP has three statements to work through, not one. The transactions CSV carries columns the PDF lacks - Source, Target, Reference ID, Store Name - and marketplace settlements land as lump sums with the store's own fees already deducted upstream, so the Payoneer line never matches the marketplace's gross figure. Withdrawals to your local bank include Payoneer's conversion spread, which means the amount leaving the balance rarely equals what arrives at the bank. Even the native feed keeps this per-currency structure and needs a multi-currency Xero plan to sync more than one balance. StatementClear runs one feed per currency balance, maps each export once, and posts the lines into the matching Xero account ready to reconcile.

The manual way, every month

  • Log in and export a statement (and hope the format didn't change)
  • Reformat columns, dates and signs until Xero's importer accepts it
  • Upload the CSV into the right account and pray nothing doubled up
  • Eyeball the balance, fix what broke, repeat next month

And after all that, it still isn't a feed - it's a one-off import you'll redo next month.

The StatementClear way: a real feed

Upload the statement and it posts into Xero as a live bank feed through Xero's Bank Feeds API - deduped, balance-checked and ready to reconcile. Not another file to import. Converters hand you a CSV; this arrives in Xero the way a bank feed does.

  1. Step 1

    Connect Xero

Link your org and pick the account that has no feed.

  2. Step 2

    Upload your Payoneer statement

PDF, CSV or Excel - whatever you can export. Map the columns once and we remember the mapping.

  3. Step 3

    We check it first

Duplicates are skipped, the running balance is verified, and sign errors are caught before anything posts.

  4. Step 4

    It lands as a feed

Clean lines arrive in Xero through the Bank Feeds API, ready to reconcile.
