Direct Xero delivery isn't exclusive to us
DocuClipper's Xero guide, updated 25 September 2026, describes both Xero-ready CSV and Direct Sync, including delivery to the bank account's Reconcile tab. We haven't independently tested its implementation, so we don't claim that it only produces files or that our delivery is faster.

When to try StatementClear
You have a PDF to get into Xero today and want to complete a real statement before deciding whether to pay. You want either a CSV you can review and import yourself or direct delivery for eligible transactions. Or you import long statements regularly and prefer a recurring price based on connected feeds.
Our scope is deliberately focused on Xero statement imports. If your workflow includes other accounting systems or other kinds of document, compare DocuClipper's wider product against those needs.
Test both with the same statement
- Use a representative statement with the kinds of rows you actually process: fees, refunds, multi-line descriptions or a page break.
- Compare the number of transactions, dates, signed amounts and opening and closing balance with the original.
- Check the output in a suitable Xero account. Confirm whether it creates the bank statement lines you expect and how repeat imports are handled.
- Compare the whole job, including reviewing exceptions and getting the result into Xero, then calculate the price for your usual number of accounts and pages.
We haven't run an independent accuracy or speed benchmark, so we don't publish a percentage or claim to beat DocuClipper on either. Your own statement is the useful test.
Our limits, before you connect
Direct delivery accepts eligible dates within the last year, and an existing feed connection may block it. Older history uses CSV. Overlap checks compare with previous uploads to the same StatementClear feed, not every line already in Xero. Balance checks depend on data in the source, and you still review and reconcile in Xero.
If you're in the US or Canada, check Xero's native PDF import first. It may already do the job you need.
